Mireille Henry, LMSW

My name is Mireile Henry. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I am of Haitian descent. As a child my family migrated to Connecticut to provide me and my sibling a better life and education. My parents had no understanding of American culture. This was a big culture shock for me growing up and trying to navigate and find my voice.   As a young undocumented teen I had to tackle many barriers. I did not have the support or guidance that a young woman  needed to shape and understand the paths that I needed to take.  My passion is to support a person on their path so they can overcome certain obstacles. I love working with  individuals,teens, teen mothers who have trauma, depression, anxiety.  I have over 15years of experience in social work.

 

I am a wife and mother of two wonderful children. I love to travel and explore different places. I am a firm believer in finding your voice and not limiting yourself to fitting certain molds. I am very unconventional when it comes to working with individuals. I am focused on living life authentically and standing on your truth. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker.
